The Dear Dyery
My fascination with hand dyeing begins with the chemical interaction between pigment and cloth. The process of dyeing, shibori, which binds fabric to create a resist, is a memory on cloth. It is my goal to create a wearable for the human body that notes my awe and practice of this tradition, while empowering women who love to accessorize.
